View from the Inside: Courage Journey is an award-winning program which empowers youth, promotes mental wellness, and builds a sense of community.
Within the carefully curated safety of the group, led by our accredited art therapists and teachers; youth benefit from creative arts therapies. Research shows these kinds of experiences can help to reduce anxiety and increase self-esteem and quality of life.
The innovative 8-week course has participants make a self-portrait-based puppet and present a performative reflection that together become a nuanced artifact resulting in an amazing legacy project!
Course duration is approximately 8 hours presentation + 5 hours skill development sessions + additional homework.
8 weeks: Thursdays, January 20 – March 10, 2022
Times: 4:30 – 5:45 pm
Cost: $50 per person or 2 people for $90
