Call for Filmmakers
cSPACE Creative Incubator Initiative
cSPACE Projects is seeking local filmmakers for our Creative Incubator Initiative. Each filmmaker will work with a small group of three to four artists (hereafter referred to as the cohort) to capture and document their creative practice, culminating in a short film chronicling the work and their artistic creation.
The Creative Incubator Initiative is a pilot project at cSPACE King Edward.
This artist in residency program will be offered to artists re-emerging from the pandemic. The selected filmmakers will be storytellers of that journey and collaborators with the artists who are exploring how to brand and communicate their creative practices in a changing pandemic world.
Qualifications
- A minimum of three to five years experience in the field is required.
- Selected filmmakers should have experience making documentary films.
- An understanding of various artistic disciplines, and interest in working with creatives is an asset.
Filmmakers will be asked to present a sample of their work to the cohort. Successful applicants will be matched with the artists best suited to their particular skills and talents.
