Digital Media Specialist
Reporting to the manager, business services, the digital media specialist will provide digital media services to support Precision’s digital presence across social media platforms, website, and sales collateral. The candidate must be capable of producing high-quality, trendy creative content such as photos, videos, animations, graphics, web content, and branding collateral in all major formats and mediums.
This position is eligible for flexible work arrangements based on manager’s discretion.
Responsibilities
Digital Marketing / Social Media:
Work closely with the sales & marketing teams to develop digital collateral related to web content and social media.
PD Website / Intranet: Develop media and creative content for Precision’s public website and intranet (myPD).
Video & Photography: Shoot and curate photography and video to showcase Precision’s equipment and services, work cross-functionally to ensure consistency across the organization.
Agency & Freelancer Liaison: Coordinate with freelancers, content partners, and external agencies for projects as required.
Creative Direction: Provide brand input to ensure consistency for all produced content across the organization, with an intense focus on Precision’s Super Series Rig Fleet, rig technology and investor relations initiatives.
Brand Awareness: Deliver brand awareness across the organization through cohesive and compelling case studies, animations, presentations, sales brochures, videos, creative giveaways, tradeshows, and advertisements.
Sales Enablement: Support the marketing team with the sales toolkit to ensure the sales team have the most up-to-date digital and printed materials to market to our customers.
Knowledge & Skills:
- Solid knowledge of Photoshop, Final Cut Pro, Premiere Pro, Audacity, or other media editing software.
- Ability to design and build web content, WordPress & SharePoint experience is considered an asset.
- Familiarity with web design and content management systems.
- Ability to build and sustain relationships with key business partners and customers.
- Up-to-date knowledge of current creative trends.
- Strong task management, prioritization, and time management skills to meet deadlines.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Proven team player who is both flexible and adaptable.
Education: Bachelor’s degree in graphics design, marketing, or equivalent program.
Experience:
- 5+ years’ experience in a role of similar capacity.
- Experience in the oil and gas industry considered an asset.
