Looking for some tips to get your story on paper? Looking for a place to start your writing journey? The Fiction Fundamentals workshops provide writers with information around some of the essential building blocks of story. These workshops are for everyone, including those new to writing and those looking for a refresher. Each workshop focuses on a different element of storytelling, and delves into the purpose and importance of each element, as well as provides strategies and resources to learn new skills.

Attendees are encouraged to email samples they are stuck on or questions they are looking to have answered. Some of the materials or questions attendees submit will be used as examples in the workshops to work on together. Send your questions to marlies@workingwords.ca at least one week before the workshop date.
