Join us for a fun and interactive workshop where you’ll learn the art of making beautiful flowers from simple materials! Whether you’re a seasoned crafter or just looking to try something new, this workshop is perfect for all skill levels.
What to Expect:
- Learn New Skills: Our expert instructors will guide you through the process of creating stunning flowers step-by-step.
- Express Your Creativity: Experiment with different colors, shapes, and techniques to create unique flowers that reflect your style.
- Take Home Your Creations: At the end of the workshop, you’ll have a bouquet of handmade flowers to brighten up your space or give as thoughtful gifts.
- Meet Like-Minded People: Connect with fellow crafters and share tips and ideas in a friendly and welcoming environment.
- The materials will be provided.

- Open to individuals aged 12 and up, regardless of skill level.
- Perfect for individuals, friends, and families looking for a creative activity.
Children under 12 years old are welcome with parent/guardian supervision. Please get a ticket for each person (incl. all children).

About the Facilitator
Saloni is an Interior Designer and Visual Artist from India and is passionate about experimenting with diverse mediums and techniques. Since moving to Calgary in 2017, she has actively engaged in community activities. During the pandemic, Saloni dedicated time to her artwork and began sharing her skills online with immigrant women’s groups, fostering connection, skill-building, and healing through weekly art sessions. She has also conducted numerous in-person workshops for individuals of all ages and backgrounds, inspiring them to incorporate art into their lives.

Alcove Centre for the Arts is a non-profit organization based in Calgary, AB which aims to make art more accessible and promote a vibrant local arts industry. We curate and cultivate community art spaces for Calgarians to engage in art and creativity while building a platform for emerging local artists.
Alcove is a Recreational Art Space open to the public providing free art supplies and instruments to stimulate creativity. The space also acts as a gathering place for workshops, community events, and social meetups. Come visit and get creative!
