About the Instructor

Graeme Dearden is an Albertan fine artist and writer working primarily in printmaking, drawing, and visual poetry. He received his Bachelor of Fine Arts from the Alberta College of Art + Design in 2015, majoring in glass. He has produced fine art prints for numerous Albertan artists and has work collected by the Alberta Foundation for the Arts.

He has been silk-screening since 2009 and worked professionally as a silkscreen printer and lab technician for five years at Goldray Industries in Calgary. Here, he specialized in silkscreen prepress/printing for architectural decorative glass, as well as colour matching and production of silkscreen enamel and glass paint.
