We are looking for a vibrant and energetic addition to our team at Humainologie. We are a Calgary charity and we have recently opened a gallery and store in Calgary’s 17th Avenue SW district and are excited about letting people know we’re here.

Your creativity, event planning experience, and ability to engage the public will be critical elements of ensuring that we develop our presence and bring more people into our hub. We invite folks at all stages of experience and from all walks of life to apply.

As part of your letter of interest, please provide two samples of copy that you would write for our #spreadempathyYYC Instagram page to promote a prospective special event at our venue. Please also highlight any experience you have in event planning, promotions, social media content development, and community engagement.

The SESM Coordinator will be responsible for assisting in all events and promotions and will report to the Community Engagement and Special Events Manager and/or Humainologie Director, Operations.

Hours: This position is required to work weekends. Please do not apply if you are unable to be consistently available for weekend work. 10 to 18 hours weekly (negotiable).
Start Date: ASAP
Term: Eight to 10-month term with the possibility for extension
Pay Rate: $22-$28/hour, depending upon experience
