COVID-19 Impact Survey for Dance in Alberta

The deadline for this opportunity has passed.

The Alberta Dance Alliance (ADA) received requests from Minister Leela Aheer, Alberta’s Funders, our colleagues, other arts disciplines, and supporters and sponsors for feedback from you. We have chosen to actively ask you to participate in our short survey so we can advocate on your behalf. We need more responses, to make a case for more support.

This survey is for all dance disciplines! We are focused on dance organizations, self-employed artists, dance businesses, dance educational institutions, and clubs or groups, etc.

Individual and organization names will not be shared specifically.

We are gathering data, analyzing impacts and providing these findings to advocate for immediate emergency relief, operational and community stability funding, and your suggestions on recovery scenarios that may or may not yet be on the radars of those from whom you may be seeking relief. The ADA encourages you to fill in this survey. And we encourage you to resubmit as your situational needs may change given the rapidly evolving developments of this pandemic and shifts from previous estimates.

Your estimates should be based on decisions that have been made about your programming, activities, projects and organizational operations for your seasonal year or for your taxation year. The ADA impact report will be shared with funders and arts service organizations for regional, provincial, and national reporting and decision making.

Help us share this survey with your colleagues! Post the link on your social media with a call out to your fellow artists, instructors, and performers! We really need your help to spread this link.
