Intro to Stone Lithography

Instructor: Jamie-Lee Girodat
Days: 3-day workshop
Date: January 14, 21 and 28, 2024
Time: 10am – 4pm

Let us demystify stone lithography! A process that is more than 200 years old and uses an image drawn on a limestone to make hundreds of prints! In this process, an image is drawn using greasy materials. You can even use butter! The painterly marks achieved are unmatched to other techniques. Lucky for us, Alberta Printmakers is one of the few places in the province that offers lithography stones and equipment for use!
