Jazz Community Dance Class

Jazz dance is a social dance style. When African American dancers began blending traditional African steps with European styles of movement and music, jazz was born! Jazz dance is expressive and moves with rhythm, isolated and full body moves, and storytelling through dance. Broadway, swing, African and Latin styles will be introduced using music from iconic jazz artists.

Prioritizing access and inclusivity, Community Dance Classes at the National Access Arts Centre (NaAC) are created for dancers 18 years of age and older, from all skills, genders and backgrounds.
