PD Day Camp!!!
Alberta Theatre Projects is excited to announce that our play dates PD day camps will be live and in person in the ATP Rehearsal Hall! These camps will consist of a combination of both active instructional time and independent activities to entertain your child for the day.
Each camp will take place during a CBE or CSSD scheduled non-instructional professional development (PD) day.
With each day camp focusing on a different theme of theatre performance and creation, play dates camps will help kids hone kids’ creative skills through fun, imaginative and engaging activities.
Students are welcome to sign up for any number of camps – no prior experience is necessary! Students who attend will come away with fundamental performance and theatre creation skills.
All camps take place from 9am – 3:30pm in the ATP Rehearsal Hall on the third floor of Arts Commons: 220 9 Ave. SE.
There will be two scheduled 15-min breaks (one in the morning, one in the afternoon; snacks provided), and one half-hour lunch break (lunch NOT provided, so please be sure to send your kiddo off to camp with a packed lunch!).
There will be half-hour drop-off and pick-up windows at the start and conclusion of the day:
Drop-off: 8:30 – 9am
Pick-up: 3:30 – 4pm
*At this time, campers will be required to wear masks while in the building.
