The Opportunity
Glenbow is searching for a major gifts officer, advancement, with experience in fund development, community relations and portfolio management pertaining to annual, major and planned gift giving. Reporting to the chief advancement officer, this role contributes to Glenbow’s success through the daily management of Glenbow’s fundraising efforts in support of the Glenbow Reimagined campaign.
With proven fundraising experience, our ideal candidate will be responsible for identifying, qualifying, cultivating, soliciting and closing gifts from prospective and past supporters, including but not limited to individuals, foundations, granting agencies and corporations.
Our ideal candidate will have exceptionally strong interpersonal, communication and relationship-building skills with an aptitude for connection, empathy and social awareness.
They will also be well-organized, adaptable, self-motivated and a multi-tasker in a fast-paced and often shifting environment.
