Leading Through COVID-19 and Beyond

From declining revenue to managing a remote work culture, businesses are dealing with disruptions on every front due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

The Faculty of Continuing Education at Mount Royal University is pleased to present Leading Through COVID-19 and Beyond.

This free, online panel discussion features experts focusing on the economic, legal and people impacts of managing small- and medium-sized businesses in Alberta during COVID-19 and beyond.

Join us for a panel discussion held via Zoom on Thursday, May 6, 2021, at 10:00am.

Speakers include:

  • Steven Armstrong: Author, speaker, and leadership expert
  • Steve Eichler: Partner and executive committee member, Field Law
  • Todd Hirsch: Vice president and chief economist, ATB Financial

Attendees will benefit from a wide-ranging overview of the challenges and opportunities facing leaders, from challenging the status quo thinking about Alberta’s economy to gaining a greater understanding of how to respond rather than react. Employer/employee rights and responsibilities under labour law during the pandemic will also be highlighted. A moderated question-and-answer session will follow.
