Fall 2021 Dance Classes
Have you been dreaming of a vacation to Hawaii but haven’t been able to travel with the recent pandemic and restrictions still in place?
Why not bring Hawaii to you!
NalaniDance Productions is once again offering hula classes in NE Calgary. We will explore the graceful movements of hula, learn some technical and cultural terms to describe the motions, and enjoy the tropical music while we dance on our (imaginary) beach.
No experience is necessary to participate. The session will introduce participants to the movements and gradually build up to more advanced and challenging movements. Class is taught in English, and we will learn some basic Hawaiian phrases to associate with the hand and body motions.

Duration: 12 weeks
Times: 7:00 – 8:00pm
Cost: $175 per person
Open to all genders, age 16 and older.
Classes are held at Evergreen Community SPACES in Mayland Heights. No drop ins allowed. Must register in advance. Class is restricted to 15 people max.
