Introducing NAPP: Newcomer Arts Professional Program, a new name, a fresh beginning!

Thrilling ICAI News

We are beyond excited to unveil a remarkable transformation in our mission to empower newcomer creative professionals across Alberta. The Immigrant Arts Mentorship Program (IAMP) is evolving into the Newcomer Arts Professional Program (NAPP).

After a year of dedicated strategizing and enhancement, we are thrilled to introduce the Newcomer Arts Professional Program (NAPP). This dynamic evolution aims to make the program more impactful than ever before, shaped by feedback from the last two cohorts, and reflective of the current professional arts landscape!

What’s New with NAPP?

For the first time, we proudly present the reimagined Newcomer Arts Professional Program (NAPP), with 20 mentors and 20 participants, equally divided between Calgary and Edmonton.

Program Enhancements: We’ve overhauled our professional development sessions, infusing them with more facilitators and valuable resources to ensure that NAPP provides an even more enriching experience for newcomer creative professionals.

Stay Tuned for NAPP Applications in January 2024: Mark your calendars for the NAPP application launch in January 2024. The call for mentors and participants will follow shortly after.
