Calling all creatives and aspiring designers!

Spring is the perfect time to pick up a new skill — or refine an old one! Alberta Network of Immigrant Women is excited to bring you Needle & Thread, our sewing program designed for beginners and intermediate learners alike.

Basic Sewing Class (Beginner-Friendly): If you’re new to sewing or want to master the basics, this class is for you!

Intermediate Sewing Class: Already know your way around a sewing machine? Take your skills to the next level and learn techniques like working with a jersey fabric and using a serger.

Classes start on April 12, 2025 (tentative date, subject to change)

Every Saturday

  • Morning Session (10am – 1pm): Intermediate Sewing Class
  • Afternoon Session (2– 5pm): Basic Sewing Class
