one2one Grant Writing Support Pilot Project
In 2021 AMAAS hired a research consultant to review the grant funding success rate of Alberta media artists. An outcome of this research is the one2one Grant Writing Support pilot project which entails pairing up experienced grant writers (mentoring grant writers) with individual media artists who are working on municipal, provincial, and or federal grant applications.
The mentoring grant writer will share expertise and provide feedback to answer questions on logistical, budgetary and any conceptual challenges. Each artist will receive 6 – 7 hours of mentoring from the mentoring grant writer assigned to them.
Artists who are selected to participate in this project are required to complete and submit their grant application within 6 months of their mentoring sessions.
