Online Digital Animation Camp for Youth

Fee: $275 for members, $305 for non-members

ToonBoom Harmony is a professional 2D animation software tool that was created in Canada and is taking the global animation community by storm! It’s used by companies like Cartoon Network, Universal, Ubisoft, Southpark Studios, Lucas Films LTD., and many more. Join us for this online, interactive ToonBoom camp and get introduced to this powerful animation software. You’ll learn your way around ToonBoom through various exercises to learn its mechanics through the completion of a finished animated short.

Course Requirements:

  • Computer
  • Webcam (we can lend you one upon request)
  • ToonBoom License—included with the camp fee.
  • Drawing Tablet—rental is included in the camp fee. We require an additional $100 refundable deposit with the purchase of the camp, which will be reimbursed upon the return of equipment.

About the Instructor

Brian currently has an active studio practice in Calgary. He graduated from the Alberta College of Art and Design with a BFA with distinction, he was the 2001 Valedictorian, a recipient of a Board of Governors award for his faculty, and a 2014 ACAD Alumni Award recipient.

Brian co-founded (CUFF) the Calgary Underground Film Festival and is an active member of the Calgary arts Community. His experience and involvement in the arts community is extensive. Brian currently teaches creative arts at the Alberta College of Art and Design in the continuing education department, he teaches animation at the Quickdraw Animation Society and samplers at Swinton’s every few Sunday’s. He has opened a private atelier and school, atelierartista.com for those wanting to take their artistic skills to the next level.
