Photography is a unique form of self-expression, where youth manipulate images to mimic the way they see the world. Photography gives youth the ability to communicate their emotions through capturing the world in unique ways. Join Art & Creative Skills Collective for an intro to photography classes every week!
The photography program is a four-week program that teaches visual storytelling to participants and provides them with an artistic outlet to express themselves. The program will equip participants to document and showcase issues that require immediate attention and drive the necessary social change.
The photography program will cover the following topics:
- Camera basics and camera controls
- Camera techniques
- Shots and camera angles
- Understanding exposure and light
- Photography as an art
Youth must have a phone to participate in program.
