SAAG Holiday Market Call for Vendors

The Southern Alberta Art Gallery Maansiksikaitsitapiitsinikssin is excited to announce that applications for our annual holiday market are now open! We invite applications from local and regional vendors who make handmade, quality goods.

The cost to participate as a vendor is $60, payable in person at the Gallery during opening hours or by credit card over the phone. Vendors who submit their payment and contract by 5 pm on Saturday Sept. 23, 2023 will receive a special early bird rate of $50. Tables are available on a first-come, first-served basis upon receipt of payment and signed contracts, so register early to choose your table. Tables are provided for all vendors, with two table sizes available: 6’ x 2.5’ or 6’ x 2’ 8”. One chair per table will be provided, and additional chairs are available. Free wifi is available but there is no ATM on site.

The market runs Friday, November 17, 2023 from 5 to 9pm and Saturday, November 18, 2023 from 10am to 5pm. Vendors will have access to the gallery for set-up at noon on Friday, November 17, 2023 and 9am on Saturday, November 18, 2023.

To apply, complete the application form and provide up to 10 images of the work you wish to feature in the Holiday Market as .JPG or .PNG files. Images can be emailed to kcashmore@saag.ca with the subject line 2023 Holiday Market – [Name] Images.

The deadline to apply is 5pm, Saturday, September 2, 2023.

Accepted vendors will be notified by 5pm, Saturday September 9, 2023, and will be asked to provide the signed contract, vendor fee, and up to 10 high quality images of their work to be used in social media promotion by the above mentioned date to confirm their spot in the market. Contracts and images can be emailed to kcashmore@saag.ca. Accepted market vendors will be required to submit payment and a signed market contract by 5pm on Friday September 29, 2023.
