Sneaker Culture Call for Artists
Are you a sneaker fan? Apply for PARK’s call for artists!
PARK (Promoting Artists Redefining Kulture) is seeking emerging or experienced artists to design and paint artwork for a sneaker-themed back to school public art installation. This could take on the form of designing a backdrop, painting sneakers, or live painting! This will be a paid opportunity.
Eligibility
Eligibility is open to all artists age 18 and over, regardless of race, colour, religion, national origin, gender, age, military status, sexual orientation, marital status, or physical or mental disability. Artist teams are eligible to apply, including teams of artists from multiple disciplines.
Entry Requirements
Interested artist are to submit the following to info@ourparkonline.com:
- Art Work: Either a portfolio, design/sketch, or mood board of their ideas for a public art installations inspired by sneaker painting and sneaker culture.
- Artist Bio: Key Information including biography, website, social media, educational background.
- Mediums: Digital, paint, or sculptural.
Project Timeline
Installation Launch: August 14, 2023
Artists must be available between July 21 –August 22, 2023 for design work, painting and installing.
