Theatre Technician

cSPACE Projects is looking for an enthusiastic, customer-experience minded individual who will bring positivity and energy to the cSPACE Arts Hub. This person will collaborate with our team to support our community building ambitions.

This position is responsible for facilitation our client’s event success from a technical perspective. Working closely with the Event’s team and the client, you will help transform the Studio Theatre and other event spaces at our facility to capture the client’s vision and support their unique needs. Reporting to the Theatre Manager you will utilize multiple technical disciplines depending on the client needs. Ideal Candidates for This Position Would:

  • Be passionate about the arts and creative place making.
  • Have strong customer-service skills; creating a welcoming safe environment for our clients and patrons.
  • Be an independent worker.
  • Have a keen eye for detail when overseeing the technical aspects of the Studio Theatre and event spaces while considering the needs of the client.
  • Custodial duties, as required for effective operations.
  • Be available on evening and weekends.
  • Have experience in technical support of events (lighting, sound, video, broadcast).
