Summertime Music inspired Art Exhibition
The Crescent Heights Community Association (CHCA) seeks proposals from artists to create small, 3-dimensional art works for our Mini Galleries – public outdoor installation.
We encourage all sculptors, ceramic, glass, jewelry, and textile artists as well painters and photographers.
All selected artists will receive an artist fee of $500 and can also sell their work. The artworks will be displayed in one of our mini galleries located in Crescent Heights Rotary Park and offered for sale on our website.
Timeline
- Application deadline April 24, 2022 at 12:00am.
- Notification of results will be by email at April 30, 2022.
- Artwork drop-off: June 29, 2022.
- Exhibition July 1/August 2022.
Submission Guidelines:
- Artists are asked to create art in any medium, no larger than 12 x 16” and 6.5” deep.
- Please keep in mind the work must fit in our small gallery boxes. All artworks must be the originals of the submitting artist.
Submissions must include:
- Three digital images of proposed or related work. Image files in JPG format only. (Minimum size 600 pixels on its longest side and maximum size 1240 pixels on its longest side) No more than 2 MB in size.
- Artist contact information (name, mailing address, phone number, email, website, social media links).
- This exhibition will accept both works for exhibition only and works for sale.
All sale prices will go directly to the artist.
Accepted Artists:
- An agreement for the exhibition must be signed.
- The artist is responsible to set up and strike display (unless by agreed arrangements).
- No early withdrawals of artwork are permitted during the exhibition.
Please note CHCA is not responsible for damages to artwork that occurs while the artwork is exhibited. Copyright remains with the artist. However, artwork images submitted may be used as part of the promotion and publicity for present and future communications via—including but not limited to—CHCA website, email, social media, and television.
