Prairie Madness

Theatre Encounter is preparing for our biggest ever season, and we’re seeking a highly organized creative problem solver to fill the role of technical director for our mainstage production of Prairie Madness in March 2024.

Prairie Madness is a highly experimental live performance, combining live performance, projected video and light, and the use of eight industrial drum fans to create the experience of wind inside the theatre space. As a result, the Encounter company is seeking a highly creative and technically minded individual to coordinate this unusual combination of technical elements.

Compensation for this part-time, contract position is $2,800.
