Toy Camera Photography Community Class

Learn the basics of photography using fun and easy toy cameras! A toy camera is a simple, inexpensive film camera which can create unique artistic effects. In this three-week class, participants will learn about these easy-to-use cameras, learn how to load a roll of film, and shoot their own photos.

With no photography experience required, this class is perfect for anyone looking to jump into the magical world of film photography.

All materials will be provided, including cameras and rolls of film.

This class is open to mixed ability participants ages 16+ (this course is designed to be inclusive for people with disabilities or neurodiverse learners).

Class Schedule:

  • Week One – July 18, 2023: Basics of Photography
  • Week Two – July 25, 2023: Shooting photos!
  • Week Three – August 1, 2023: Reviewing photos
