Night Light is designed to be accessible. You don’t need a large budget or years of experience to take part. We encourage emerging and first-time artists to apply, especially those with projects around $1000. Whether it’s a glowing sculpture, projection, performance, or interactive experience, we are looking for creative, low-barrier installations that bring light and energy to public spaces.
This is your chance to test ideas, experiment with scale, and share your work with a wide audience in a supportive, community-focused setting.

About Night Light
Night Light is a three-night celebration of curated light, art and performance that transforms Victoria Park into a dazzling spectacle. With interactive installations, projection-mapped architecture, and live performances , we create an immersive experience that entertains while inspiring the next generation of artists.
By fostering a culture of “seeding” new artistic talent, Night Light puts Calgary and its local artists in the global spotlight.
