Stardale is pleased to invite you to this inaugural Networking event, hosted by SLB. Join your industry peers to further your education on collaborating, engaging and working with Indigenous peoples.
Celebrate with Stardale Women’s Group on June 21, 2024 for an educational film screening and drumming performance in support of our charities mission to empower young Indigenous girls and help them overcome systemic barriers.
Why Attend?
This event is designed for industry professionals as a way to connect and learn. Regardless of gender, race or profession, this event provides a unique opportunity to gain insight and further your participation in reconciliation through meaningful support.
The schedule includes a private screening of our newest film and the stories from the rising matriarch. This film is a must-see experience and shares true insight into the lives of these young Indigenous women and their healing journeys. Following the over 27 years of Stardale Women’s Group, Stardale Warrior Women captures the profound and lasting impact of the efforts in social change and empowerment.
Following the screening, you will get to meet the Stardale Warrior Women themselves as well as the film team; then the Stardale Girls Drumming Group will perform Traditional Medicine songs. We will also be joined by guest presenter Dr. Linda ManyGuns to discuss the renewal and revival of the Indigenous way of knowing and doing both now and into the future.
We will be auctioning artwork and the best seat in the house for the Calgary Stampede 2024.
Best Seat in the House includes:
- Invite for 4 to pre-parade BBQ
- Official White Hat Ceremony @ BBQ
- Invite for 2 to parade day breakfast
- Entry in parade on Best Seat wagon

During the event, experience a fantastic array of traditional Indigenous foods including traditional Bannock with jam and fruit.
