Beakerhead

Dates: September 20 – 22, 2024

Teamwork makes the dream work, and that dream wouldn’t be possible without our volunteers. Our crew is currently 400-strong, and we’re always on the lookout for people who are eager to share their inner (or outer) nerdiness with the world! As a volunteer, you’ll have the opportunity to contribute your skills, enthusiasm, and passion to create captivating experiences that ignite curiosity and inspire innovation.

Why volunteer with TELUS Spark/Beakerhead?

Join a Vibrant Community: Connect with like-minded individuals who share your curiosity and love for creativity. As a volunteer, you’ll collaborate with a diverse group of passionate people, fostering new friendships and networking opportunities that extend beyond our festival.

Make a Meaningful Impact: Your contribution as a volunteer directly impacts the success of Beakerhead and of TELUS Spark. Whether you’re assisting with installations, guiding visitors through exhibits, or supporting event logistics, your dedication ensures that attendees have an unforgettable experience.

Learn and Grow: Beakerhead is a hub of innovation and learning. As a volunteer, you’ll have access to unique opportunities to expand your knowledge, gain new skills, and witness groundbreaking projects and presentations first-hand.

Ready to be a part of the Beakerhead experience?

Join our team of volunteers and make a difference. Whether you’re a silent busy bee or a social butterfly, there’s a spot for everyone, and there is no shortage of bizarre fun to be had while helping out!

We have short-term roles such as event-only positions and year-round roles available, so we’re sure you’ll find something that fits your wants and needs.

Brilliance happens when you are in your element. If you share an affinity for science, art and engineering, join the volunteer crew!

**Anyone over the age of 16 is welcome to apply. If you are under the age of 18, we will require a signed consent form from a parent or guardian.

Various dates run outside and alongside the main Beakerhead dates.
