Sam Centre
The Calgary Stampede is a volunteer-supported, not-for-profit community organization that preserves and celebrates our western heritage, cultures and community spirit. While we’re most famous for our 10-day festival in July, Stampede Park is a busy place all year. Sam Centre is a new opportunity for folks to become involved with the Stampede and join the ranks of over 3,000 Calgary Stampede volunteers.
Dedicated to making The Greatest Outdoor Show on Earth a year-round experience, Sam Centre will bring history to life through immersive exhibits, captivating showcases, compelling storytelling and interactive experiences. Sam Centre volunteers will create an exceptional guest experience by delivering world-class western hospitality and bringing Calgary’s Stampede story to life. This will include welcoming guests to the space, facilitating interactive experiences, and sharing stories. Sam Centre volunteers will also support ticketing, monitor exhibits and experiences, and work closely with other volunteers and staff to support Sam Centre’s success.
