Call for Nominations for the Elephant Artist Relief Award
Nominate an artist or art supporter who you believe has made the arts better in Calgary.
EAR wants artists to be recognized for their contributions to our local culture. EAR honours an artist or art supporter in Calgary who has made a significant contribution to the vibrancy of the Calgary art scene. The recipient, or in some cases recipients, are selected by a jury of Calgary artist peers. Winners are announced during our annual AGM*, and their names added to the EAR trophy designed by local artist Tim Westbury.
Send a 500 word (max) nomination for your candidate explaining to our Jury why they should be acknowledged by their peers.

Note: EAR in the past has given the award out every other year too two recipients. Starting 2019 the award will be given out to one nominee each year during the AGM.
This year our AGM will be on April 28, 2019, 6:00 to 9:00pm at CommunityWise.
