The Lieutenant Governor of Alberta Distinguished Artist Award is Alberta’s most prestigious recognition of outstanding achievement in the arts. Since 2005, 27 amazing artists from a wide range of arts disciplines have been awarded this $30,000 prize. Her Honour Salma Lakhani, Lieutenant Governor of Alberta, will present the awards at a ceremony in Medicine Hat on September 16, 2023. Nominate an exceptional Alberta artist until March 8, 2023.
