Art Acquisitions by Application
The Alberta Foundation for the Arts annual Art Acquisition by Application, Art Purchase Program deadline is Friday, April 1, 2022.
Artworks in one or more of the following categories are eligible for submission:
- Drawing
- Painting
- Sculpture
- Printmaking (excluding reproductions)
- Fibre art
- Ceramics
- Photography
- Glass
- Mixed media
- New media (time-based media, electronic arts, audio art)
Artists must be:
- Residents of Alberta for one or more years.
- Not enrolled in formal (guided) art education.
- In good standing with the AFA.
All applications are received through the AFA’s GATE Portal, and detailed program guidelines and application information can be found by visiting affta.ab.ca.
