Art Contest & Social Media Project
#ourbrandiswild is a grassroots initiative launched in February 2021. It’s an art contest and social media project to celebrate Alberta’s Eastern Slopes in the Rocky Mountains.
I believe Alberta’s richest resources are its passionate peoples and our environment, and these should be protected above all else. Without clean water, what do we have? Without biodiversity, how do we survive?
Our spiritual and economic vitality—our brand—is our wilderness.
Please join us in this art contest and social media project by sharing images of wild spaces and species in this province: especially the threatened Grizzly Bear, Cutthroat Trout, and Woodland Caribou, the Eastern Slopes of the Rockies, the Oldman River, the Crowsnest River, Livingstone River, and associated waterways! Show us what you love about the Eastern Slopes region!
Winners will be featured in a month long online art exhibition with Junction North Gallery.
