Archived April 20, 2022 Art Park Coordinator Call for containR Art Park Coordinator for Springboard Performance The responsibilities of the position are outlined below. Springboard may make reasonable changes to this position’s responsibilities as necessary from time to time, and this description is expected to evolve during the course of any individual appointment. The containR specialist coordinates and supervises initiatives and programming centered at Springboard’s containR Art Park. This position works closely with internal Springboard staff, as well as contracted artists, companies, organizations, and individuals in order to sustain engagement with and use of the containR site that fits within the program’s and Springboard’s Mandate. This is a part-time position at $20.00/hr. Responsibilities: Plan and attend Springboard community events, productions, and initiatives at the containR Art Park. Maintain the containR event and production schedule, budgets and reporting information (regarding engagement and programming). Maintain communication with contracted artists, curators, volunteers, and renters (including contracting, liaising, onboarding, and scheduling). Oversee permitting procedures with the City of Calgary, AHS, and AGLC. Liaise with all partners, renters, and community. Communicate with and supervise subcontractors, as necessary. Act as the on-site liaison and supervisor for scheduled containR programming. Coordinate and operate site and technical equipment rentals for live performances. Oversee summer students at containR. Identify and pursue funding opportunities for containR site maintenance and programming with Springboard staff. Identify, pursue, and steward partnerships and sponsorships, as necessary. Maintain basic cleaning and maintenance of containR site for safe public use. Maintain procedure documents for containR Art Park.
