Archived October 14, 2021 Artists Monthly Mental Health Meetup Calling artists across Calgary, to participate in a conversation that improves mental health literacy for yourself and those in your life. Acknowledging that your mental health has been impacted by an illness, or that your art is part of the process of coping with your life, is a way of strengthening your connection to yourself. These conversations help validate our processes and work to support a sense of belonging. You are warmly invited to join our on-going monthly conversation around art, mental health, disability, and more. Our next meetup is Sunday, October 17, 2021, at 2:30pm and runs for an hour. These conversations inspire positive change for mental health literacy in Calgary. They are meant to assist us with developing resilience as a community. One in which we face life and it’s trials as a collective, and learn the necessary information to become more durable, to choose our own adventure with confidence. To register for this free event, please email stacey@perlinfoundation.com and you’ll receive the homework from the last session, as well as the agenda and Zoom login information. The host for the evening is Stacey Perlin, a long-time Calgary producer, artist, and mental health advocate.
