Industry Events January 25, 2023 Artists’ Monthly Wellness Meetup Date: February 19, 2023 Time: 6:30 – 7:30pm Location: Online via Zoom Calling visual artists, musicians, creatives and writers across Calgary, to participate in a conversation that improves mental health literacy for yourself and those in your life. Your quality of life has been impacted by challenges and your creative practice is part of your process of coping with your life, one of many paths to strengthening your connection to yourself. These conversations help validate our processes and work to support a sense of belonging. Our group operates with an accountability focus, working on shared themes each month. You are warmly invited to join our ongoing monthly conversation around art, mental health, wellness, disability and more on February 19, 2023 from 6:30 – 7:30pm via Zoom. The facilitator for the evening is Stacey Perlin, a longtime Calgary producer, artist and mental health advocate. The objective of the Perlin Foundation for Wellbeing is to facilitate mental health education and science, blend with entertainment, and weave it all into a narrative to provide Calgarians with a deeper understanding of how we receive and process the world via cognition and emotion to generate a sense of wellbeing.
