Assistants for Artist & Scientist Match-Up

We are looking for student volunteers to assist in Branch Out Foundation’s third annual Your Brain on Art fundraiser where we match established artists with neuroscientists to explore the connection between brain research and visual art.
Selected artists will be matched with scientists and will learn about their individual area of brain research.
They will then create a piece of visual art to represent this research which will be auctioned off at a gala event to be held on November 17, 2020. All proceeds will go to Branch Out Neurological Foundation to help fund further non-pharmaceutical and tech solutions to all brain disorders.
Ideal candidates will be students with an interest in art, writing, communication, and in connecting art with brain science.
Volunteers are currently needed to help with the following:
- Facilitate Zoom meetings with the artists and scientists.
- Help artists and scientists with the writing of bios and descriptions of their work as needed.
- Help with the creation of promotional videos and content for the art auction and the Your Brain on Art social media promotion.
- Future opportunity to volunteer at the gala event on November 17, 2020.
Volunteers will have the opportunity to make valuable connections and participate in a high energy, growing, fundraiser for a foundation that was started by former speed skating olympian Crystal Phillips.
