Call for Proposals: Wellness Facilitator(s)

The goal of AUArts SA’s wellness programming is to emphasize the importance of sustaining a balanced lifestyle in order to achieve a greater sense of one’s well-being, and is driven by the holistic philosophy that mental well-being involves more than just the mind, and rather is a result of an integrated approach towards sustaining social, emotional, nutritional, physical, financial, sexual, spiritual, and mental health.

AUArts SA would like to to run weekly sessions throughout the September 2021 to April 2022 school year to provide students access to consistent, free, and relevant programming they feel they can build into their routines as busy university students. Our programming will be delivered virtually and is recorded and shared for an agreed amount of time (usually until the next weeks begins) for students to access outside of the session.

For these weekly sessions AUArts is seeking facilitated activities such as yoga, breath work, meditation or any other form of wellness activities that centre on release/slowing down/creating space to decompress. We also hope to host three to five special sessions throughout the year with different focuses than the weekly offerings, and are looking for a range of proposals for both long term programs plus one time sessions.

If we’ve caught your eye and you’d like to apply for this position send us your proposal to help us get to know you better. Please also ensure you specify which job you’re applying for and why you think you’d be a good fit for our team. Please include an outline of wellness activity and cost per session plus facilitator availability.

Applications can be sent to Jamie Russett, VP of Student Life, at studentlife.sa@auarts.ca.

Application Deadline is August 27, 2021.

The AUArts Students’ Association is an equal opportunity employer and is committed to diversity. If you require any specific accommodations to be made during the interview process, please do not hesitate to include this information when submitting your application. We thank all candidates for their interest; however only those selected for an interview will be contacted.
