Want to be part of a movie being filmed in Calgary?
The movie is a Godfather-inspired film set in the ’60s about honoring a loved one. It features common themes like betrayal, courage, integrity and honour. Rehearsals will begin on July 3, 2023 leading up to July 28, 2023. There will be a private screening in late August. The movie will be filmed in many of the run-down abandoned buildings and locations in downtown Calgary. Here are some details about the audition:
Who: Males between the ages of 14 and 22.What: Prepare a short 2-minute monologue (comedic, dramatic, etc.) displaying your skills as an actor. No experience necessary!
Dates: May 18, 22 and 23, 2023, from 5 – 9pm
Location: TBDWhy: To be part of a great opportunity of course!
This movie allows for an experience young actors probably haven’t had before.
*Note this is a paid opportunity. However, much of the payment is dependent on the success of the film.
