We have a draft best practice document for that… Public galleries are not-for-profit galleries that receive the majority of their funding from local, provincial, and/or federal government sources and should pay artists’ fees (Exhibition Royalty Fees) to all artists whose works are exhibited. In addition, professional fees and copyright/reproduction royalties should be paid. Current and advance fee rates and categories are found in the CARFAC/RAAV fee schedule.
