Stephanie Browne, a Calgary artist and mother of two, painted and wrote the children’s board book Roots, a story of how a tree survives because of its support system underground.
You can back this project on Kickstarter to receive your copy of Roots. If successfully backed, a donation of books will be made to the Children’s Hospital Foundation and the Calgary Women’s Emergency Shelter. Kickstarter is all or nothing, so this book will only exist if the goal is reached.
