Stephanie Browne, a Calgary artist and mother of two, painted and wrote the children’s board book Roots, a story of how a tree survives because of its support system underground. You can back this project on Kickstarter to receive your copy of Roots. If successfully backed, a donation of books will be made to the Children’s Hospital Foundation and the Calgary Women’s Emergency Shelter.
