The Calgary Jazz Orchestra (CJO) is a high-energy, passionate group of people whose goal is to engage and reach the audience through every song. The rich acoustic traditional Big Band sound emanates from Calgary’s top professionals, and is led by trumpeter, composer and Calgary Jazz Orchestra Artistic Director Johnny Summers.
Behind the Calgary Jazz Orchestra is a dedicated group of supporters who make up the CJO’s board of directors/officers. With positions open in our marketing, events coordination and outreach committees, there is something for everyone!
