We are looking for an enthusiastic Residential Measurement Standard (RMS) measurement technician on a full-time or casual basis.
What Does the Job Entail?
- Provide detailed above and below grade measurements for clients.
- Create schematic diagrams and RMS calculations for clients following Real Estate Council of Alberta (RECA) guidelines and Measurements of non RMS (Residential Measurement Standards) areas.
- Measuring and inputting dimensions on site to draft an RMS compliant outline and detailed notes.
- Determine RMS above grade floor areas as well as developed and undeveloped floor areas of below grade levels.
- Collaborate with team to create finished product with rapid turn-around times.
What Do You Need to Know?
- RECA guidelines for property measurement.
- Proficient in measurements in above grade and below grade levels.
- Knowledge and application of the RMS for Alberta.
What Do You Need to Have?
- You will need to have a valid drivers license and an insured motor vehicle that you can use for work purposes.
- A recent criminal record check.
Who are You?
- One to two years experience preferred with residential measurements in Alberta under RECA’s Residential Measurement Standard.
- You have a passion for what you do.
