Archived May 30, 2022 Calgary Urban Sketching Classes Urban sketching has quickly become a tangible alternative to driving out to the country to work in the environment. Artists and students of art are being drawn to the vast possibilities urban sketching provides in shaping ones perspective on their environment. You are invited to learn from artist and educator Mark Vazquez-Mackay about the techniques and practices specific to urban sketching. All summer classes will be taught at specific sights around Calgary’s inner city and will have corresponding lessons specific to the challenges of the given location.
