Call for Artists
The Darks Arts Christmas Market
We are looking for enthusiastic, talented creatives interested in becoming a vendor at our Christmas Market for December 16, 2022, 4 – 11pm and December 17, 2022 11am – 7pm.
For artwork, we are specifically looking for artisans specializing in: ceramics, jewellery, prints, painting, illustrations, glass work, stickers, greeting cards, leatherwork, fashion design/clothing, fibre arts/crafts, metalwork, candles, soaps, home décor, anything unique & handmade + more! No food items accepted at this time. The venue will supply each artist with a table and chair.
Instead of a vendor fee we are asking for a 20% commission on sales with the artists keeping 80% of their profits. Artists that have experience with markets/trade shows are appreciated although it is not necessary in order to apply. Due to the number of submissions received, we will only be notifying artists who have been accepted, who will be announced in early December.

Submission Requirements
- Brief artist statement (min 100 words)
- Brief description of proposed work for market (min 100 words)
- 5 images of artwork ready for market.
- Website or Instagram (if applicable)
- CV/resume
If you prefer to use your own table and chair or do not require either at the market please advise.
