Call for Indigenous Artists

The Indigenous, Local and Global Health Office within the University of Calgary’s Cumming School of Medicine is inviting expressions of interest from emerging Indigenous artists residing in Alberta to create artwork(s) honouring the legacy of the Alberta Indigenous Mentorship in Health Innovation (AIM-HI) Network.

The selected artist will develop their overall plans and approach in consultation with Indigenous Faculty, Elders, and students who contributed to the success of the AIM-HI network. Proposed works may include the creation of 2D murals, 3D, installation, sculpture, panels, paintings, textiles, and mixed media.

This work is to be located in the Indigenous Hub (G801F) in the Health Sciences Centre, 3330 Hospital Dr. NW, Calgary.
