Cassa Piano

Cassa Piano is an exciting four-day online or five-day in-person opportunity for pianists with some experience (Level 3 and up), ages nine to 19, to explore the many facets of piano playing in a supportive, fun atmosphere that promotes a positive attitude towards practising and performing. Students are coached in prepared solo repertoire and new ensemble pieces. Students attend classes in musical style, interpretation, memorization, technique and performance anxiety.

Classes in choir, art, improvisation, and a featured composer are also offered. A different composer(s) is selected each year. Everyone loves Cassa Piano Jeopardy at the end of the week!

As announced, our 2021 clinician is the internationally-esteemed Dr. Corey Hamm, who will bring his vast knowledge and experience to teach us about our 2021 featured composers: Debussy, Rachmaninov, and Prokofiev. Don’t delay, register now. Spaces are limited, and this program sells out every year.
