Citizen Artists YYC
A collective re-imagining for an equitable and just future for the arts in Calgary.

Chat & Chew Zoom Meeting
Tuesday, June 2, 2020, 1:00 – 2:30pm MDT

We wanted to invite you into an initiative we are starting up in Calgary. A number of us see the importance of keeping equity, diversity, inclusion, and accessibility (EDIA) concerns front and centre as we go through so much change everywhere including the arts sector.

Cesar Cala, community activist, and JD Derbyshire, artist and disability justice advocate, are going to facilitate this session with more to follow. We wanted to get grassroots discussion and actions going.

The first week we will grapple with the question: What is this moment asking of us?
