This webinar will provide an overview to Community Arts in theory with practical examples. It is geared for trained artists aspiring or beginning to work with community and communities that are interested in Community Art.

This webinar will include:

  • An introduction to the spectrum of practice in ways to engage community
    lecture/discussion around ethical questions in Community Arts and different
  • Points on the spectrum of practice
  • Exploring specific ethical dilemmas/challenges
  • Exploring power dynamics and informed consent
  • Basic considerations for initial community partnerships

The Community Art Ethics webinar has been adapted for Zoom from a popular in-person workshop last facilitated by Brooke Leifso in 2019.
