We are looking for a creative person who is passionate about social change and who is skilled in arts-based facilitation. They will be responsible for deepening the reach and impact of CDLI by integrating arts-based practices in our regular gatherings, and by developing arts-based offerings. During their time with us, they will also be building intentional relationships between CDLI and community organizations in the social innovation sphere.

As with all of our work at CDLI, we also create space for team members to contribute their strengths and to bring in their passions, so there will also be opportunities to bring in and explore your own ideas, as they align with our work!

What You’ll Do:

  • Conduct graphic recordings of CDLI’s regular gatherings.
  • Support the design and delivery of a community conversation on community-led economies in partnership with the ABCD Learning and Action Team.
  • Design and facilitate 1-2 arts-based community workshops to help others tell the story of their communities through art (e.g. through zine making, or photography, or graphic design, or videos, or social media posts, or poetry, etc.).
  • Co-lead the design and delivery of CDLI’s annual end-of-year large community gathering.
  • Support the telling of the story of the work of CDLI and its network members.
  • Relationship building with existing and new network members, specifically those individuals and organizations involved in arts for social change, social innovation, and community economic development.
  • Research and build capacity of the CDLI team with regards to systems mapping.
